Samuel A Goodley III
Sam grew up on his family farm south of Oxford, Pennsylvania. He attended the Pennsylvania State University in State College, Pennsylvania, where he obtained a B.A. in Anthropology and a B.A. in Philosophy, and met his wife, Stephanie Burke. Sam graduated in 2009, thereafter beginning to work as a legal secretary and real estate settlement clerk for his father, Sam Goodley, Jr., at Byler, Goodley, and Winkle, PC. Sam then attended Temple University’s Beasley School of Law, graduating in 2015, after which he and Steph moved back to the family farm in Oxford, and Sam went back to work for his father’s firm. Sam and Steph were married on the farm in 2018.
In 2018, Sam III and his father, Sam Jr., formed their own law firm, Sam III co-founded his title company, and went into independent practice. After the retirement of his father, Sam Jr., from active/full-time status in 2019, Sam III worked as a sole practitioner for five years. He is truly excited to merge his practice with that of Patrick, Ashley, and Tom. Sam focuses on work generally related to real estate, including but not limited to real estate transactions and title work, and estate planning.
Sam’s heart can be found on the family farm, where he and Steph currently live. They dabble in their own small projects in their spare time, including some pastured pigs, chickens, and a burgeoning orchard. Sam is an inveterate dilettante who enjoys, among other things, reading, traveling, and the martial arts.
