Tom Fanning
After growing up in rural Indiana, Tom attended North Carolina State University in Raleigh where he graduated summa cum laude with a B.S. in Economics. After meeting his wife Jill in college and following her home to Lancaster County, Tom attended Villanova Law School and graduated magna cum laude in 2006. Tom was an Associate Editor of the Villanova Law Review and focused his legal studies on transactional legal work—real estate and estate planning, specifically.
After spending three years at a large Philadelphia-based firm, Tom co-founded this firm in 2009, where he built a practice focused on real estate, estate planning, and estate administration work. Tom took a hiatus from private practice from 2016 to 2024 to serve as general counsel for a conglomerate of family businesses—an endeavor in which he still participates in part-time. He spends the rest of his time in private practice at Glick, Goodley, Deibler, & Fanning, LLP.
Tom and Jill have been married for over 20 years. They live off of the farm where Jill grew up in Gap with their three children Colin, Owen, and Clara. Tom and Jill are active members at St. Peter's Church of the Brandywine where Tom serves as a Eucharistic Minister and member of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul. When not practicing law, Tom enjoys playing golf, studying golf course architecture, skiing, weight training, and cooking.
